The hours for the 2nd shift is from 2:30pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends depending on the needs of the business.Position ResponsibilitiesCheck in and out truck drivers in a timely manner using Carrier Point (logistics software used by Ryder)Accurately handle all transactions which in many cases are legal documentsAssign drivers to doors to be loaded and unloadedAssign material handlers to load the trucksComplete the bill of ladings for drivers and get the proper signaturesMaintain the office areas to include filing and cleaning duties as requiredEnsure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the Company and Standards established by Office of Safety and Health AdministrationExecute new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and services performedTotal RewardsWe take great pride in offering our people benefits that are competitive.
