Your Responsibilities
+ Participate in the development of high quality products utilizing Agile and XP principles
+ Create architectural design documentation
+ Work with business stakeholders, development teams to reach agreement on the requirements
+ Apply information analysis to assist in the effective integration of data to create business solutions
+ Participate in creation of project plans and schedule to meet business requirements
+ Review code and technical designs of other team members
+ Investigate/root cause production defects
+ Participate in pair programming, code katas, tech leveling, and other development activities
+ Work within and help establish guidelines such as coding standards, workflow, and/or tool standards
+ Drive team technical standards and processes
+ Provide technical leadership and support to the on-boarding and integration of external Partners and Suppliers

What Skills You Need
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion to solve problems and work in a team environment
+ 7+ years of experience with web software development
+ 7+ years of experience Java development experience
+ Experience with applications development environment, database, data administration and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
+ Understanding of service oriented architecture
+ Experience working with Test Driven Development, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Test Automation
+ Experience with Agile development process
+ Proven experience designing large scale applications
+ Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating those solutions to one or more development teams
+ Ability to travel up to 25% both domestic and international
What Makes You Stand Out
+ Demonstrated ability to lead the technical direction of a team and to influence without direct authority
+ Experience working with HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Progressive Enhancement, Responsive Design
+ Experience designing and developing embedded systems (C++)
+ Experience with Java/J2EE programming/software/server side development
+ Experience working with REST web services, Spring, Maven, Hibernate, IntelliJ or RAD/Eclipse IDE
+ Experience working with Amazon Web Services platform technologies; Kinesis, RDS, EC2/ECS, S3, SQS, EMR, etc.
+ Experience with infrastructure as code
+ Demonstrated ability to work with complex applications requiring high performance and scalability
+ Experience working with offshore development teams
+ Bachelors of Arts/Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field
